A, Auto Initial Height Sensing(IHS)
Torch Retaining Cap IHS and Proximity Switch IHS (NPN and PNP), Proximity Switch IHS is backup for Torch Retaining Cap IHS for cutting dirty/rusty workpiece, needing the Anti-Collision Fixture designed by HYD (breakaway kit ).
B, Anti-Collision Function
No matter THC is on Auto mode or Manual mode, when torch head touches the workpiece, THC automatically lift torch up to IHS height. So with XPTHC-100, user no need to worry about torch head crashing.
C, Freeze Auto Height Control on Corner Signal
XPTHC-100 would freeze Auto Mode on receiving corner signal from CNC system to avoid torch diving, and we have a unique design to backup this function. We set 30V (adjustable) as Turning Point according to our years practice. When the Actual Arc Voltage is higher than Set Arc Voltage over 30V, THC Auto Control Mode freezes to avoid torch head diving, until it goes back to 30V range. This Over Voltage protection can avoid torch diving on voltage spikes
D. Set Pierce Time
Set the Button (Set PIERCE) to set Pierce Time. XPTHC-100 support Dynamic pierce on cutting thick material.
History of HYD Torch height controller
1996 made first capacitive torch height controller (Analog circuit);
1998 made first arc voltage torch height controller (Analog circuit);
2003 designed SCM based PTHC (Ontime);
2004 set up HYD.CNC Tech Co, stopped developing of immature Ontime THC, and returned to Analog Circuit design, developed XPTHC-100 and CHC-200D, and simplified XPTHC-II
2006 made XPTHC-100II, CHC-200DII, and XPTHC-III;
2008 made capacitive CHC-300 for laser cutting;
2009 started to co-design THC with Messer China, and developed XPTHC-200; Koike started to use CHC-200DII
2010 made XPTHC-100III
2011 Made new generation THC, XPTHC-300, and CHC-200E.
2012 designed DC version cap THC for Zinser, and new laser CHC-300.

In 2016, our servo based torch height control for high speed(laser cutting) application is ready to go to market. We can design any kind of torch height control for your specific application!
HYD motion control card will come in 2016 too. We will bring China CNC controller to a new level. Currently China market is full of ARM controller, which is cheap but not user-friendly and reliable. We will supply PC based CNC controller at similar cost level as ARM controller.
Not just work on our own CNC controller, we also design operation console for Hypertherm's EDGE series, FastCut, Burny controller... to standardize CNC cutting machine production for China OEM machine manufacturers.
